In the meal handling section we cure, cool, grind and store the meal. The meal handling section is the last stage. The end product can be whole meal, meat and/or bone meal, feather and/or blood meal.

For continuous feather and/or blood meal handling:

1. The dried meal will be transported to a bagging off-spout (for example 50kg bags), big bag or directly into the trucks.
2. The end product is transported to the end user (pet food and feed industry etc.).

For batch/continuous meat and bone meal or whole meal:

1. The defatted meal (crackling) is transported into the Curing Bin for curing. The defatted meal becomes brittle.
2. The cooled meal will be transported to the Grinder for size reduction.
3. The grinded meal will be transported to a bagging off-spout (for example 50kg bags), big bag or directly into the trucks.
4. The end product is transported to the end user (pet food and feed industry etc.).

For batch feather meal, feathers and blood meal handling:

1. The dried meal will be transported to a shaking screen to remove foreign objects or will be transported to a bagging off-spout (for example 50kg bags), big bag or directly into the trucks.
2. The end product is transported to the end user (pet food and feed industry etc.).
