Major Rendering Upgrade in Slovenia Boosts Capacity and Efficiency

Major Rendering Upgrade in Slovenia Boosts Capacity and Efficiency

A rendering plant in Slovenia recently completed a major modernization project to elevate its feather and blood processing operations. The objective: increase production capacity and efficiency without compromising product quality. However, the available space at the facility was extremely limited, presenting a complex installation challenge.

Upgrading to a continuous feather and blood processing line

To meet these goals, we replaced the existing batch system on the soft line with a continuous processing line, featuring a Supercooker. In addition, a modern feather hydrolyser and a high-efficiency ring dryer were installed to further optimise feather meal and blood meal production. Despite the tight layout, our team expertly managed the installation, ensuring that all equipment was seamlessly integrated without major disruptions to operations.

Improved capacity and efficiency

The upgrade has significantly boosted the plant’s processing capacity and efficiency. The facility now produces larger volumes of premium-quality feather and blood meals, meeting increasing market demands while maintaining high standards for product consistency and purity. This modernization also demonstrates the factory’s commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, strengthening its competitive position in the industry.
