In 2017, a poultry processor in Ladyzhyn, Ukraine, took the step to create more value from its by-products by building a modern rendering facility. The company was looking for a practical and proven solution to process feathers, blood, and soft animal by-products in a reliable and efficient way, supported by a partner with experience and a hands-on approach.
Full-scope facility with three processing lines
To meet this need, Mavitec supplied and installed two complete rendering factories, each equipped with three dedicated processing lines:
- A Soft Line with Supercookor 200U for soft by-products
- A Feather Line with Hydrolyzor for feather processing
- A Blood Line with Secador de anillo for drying blood
Each line is specifically designed for its raw material type and engineered for durability, hygiene, and operational efficiency, enabling the production of high-quality protein meals and oils.

This was not the first collaboration between us and the customer. After earlier positive experiences with our technology and support, the client chose to repeat the concept. From by-products to high-value products
Thanks to the new rendering facilities, animal by-products that were once considered waste are now converted into useful end products, such as feather meal and blood meal.
